Today we're going to take a look at the Demco hijacker premier series custom mounting brackets for fifth wheel above bed base rails. Now this is a custom fit part. This one is designed to fit the 2015 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 series trucks, with either the five and a half foot bed, six and a half foot bed, or the eight foot bed. Now on a custom fit part, I always recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now these installation brackets are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel rails. The base rails we do sell separately. It's part number DM6071, and the rails is what'll sit in your truck bed and allow installation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch.
These brackets are a custom fit bracket. They're designed to mount to the outside of the frame using existing holes in your vehicles frame. That'll help minimize drilling, helps reduce installation time and it's also designed to avoid known obstacles along your specific vehicle's frame. These parts are sturdy steel construction, has a nice black powder coat finish to help resist corrosion. All the hardware's included here to install it, and it comes with a nice set of detailed instructions that describe how to install it with pictures.
