My question ison my 2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum will the Curt CMF13453 install on my car and leave the 20-inch spare tire in place or must the tire be removed permanently? Thank you

The 20" spare tire on your 2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum will have to be removed, and can not be reinstalled after the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99FR is installed.

If you still wish to have your full-size spare tire installed as well, you may consider taking a look at the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH35VR.

This hitch has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000lbs, and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 750lbs, which is a bit higher capacity than the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99FR that you were looking at.
