Which T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness is Correct for a 2022 Kia Sorento

Question:

Hi, I ordered a Tekonsha 118269 based on your website, but it appears to me that the 118838 would connect directly to connectors near the rear of the vehicle and require no disassembly of the car. Thoughts? The 118269 kit I received lists cars dating back to 2007 and I am guessing Kia has improved access to these ports. I don’t see where it would connect.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118269 would be the correct wiring harness if you have the factory tow package on your 2022 Kia Sorento. The # 118269 would plug into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located along the frame rail at the rear of your vehicle. This would be the option that requires the least amount of disassembly of your Sorento.

If you do not have the factory tow package then you would want to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK26FR (which is the 118838). This harness would plug into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights.
