Will this hitch C11347 fit the 2012 fiat 500 Abarth with the pancake-style muffler, not the tubular one?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11347 is a confirmed fit for a 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth with the factory muffler. I have attached a photo of said muffler installed on the vehicle that the trailer hitch is designed to work with. If you have an aftermarket muffler then the hitch may not fit properly.
