Kuat Transfer V2 vs Kuat Sherpa 2.0 For Use on a Travel Trailer

Question:

Buying a rack for our TT. The Transfer is RV rated but the Sherpa is lighter. I decided on the Sherpa a while ago but now not sure. Neither of the bike I carry weigh over 40 pounds each.

Since you're wanting to use the bike rack on a travel trailer you need to use the Transfer V2 # KU84FR instead of the Sherpa 2.0, like part # SH22G.

True, the Sherpa looks a bit more fancy but it hasn't been tested and approved for the exaggerated movement at the back of a travel trailer so if you were to use it and the rack failed it wouldn't be covered under warranty.
