Manual To Electric Conversion For HappiJac Camper Jacks 4160

Question:

Will this work with the older 4160 manual jacks? The camper is pre-wired already so im just trying to find the compatible kit to convert the wireless electric jacks. Ive had some conflicting information elsewhere that the 4160 jacks will only work with the older clutched motor heads so hope you can clarify for me. Thanks.

It is not recommended to use the new Replacement Motor Heads w Circuit Board and Remote for HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jack Systems # LC733960 on the 4160 jacks.

The reason is that the 4160 is a 2 piece construction acme screw drive, and the roll pins that connect the acme screw to the upper assembly can shear with the clutch-less motors.

If you were to use # LC733960 on any jacks other than the 4220 or 4820, there is a strong likelihood that the jack will fail.
