You lost your rear factory camera when you removed the tailgate, but you don't have to give up safety. This camera mounts on your license plate and plugs into your truck's harness to bring that view back to your screen when you back up.
Removing or replacing your tailgate usually means giving up the backup camera you've come to rely on. This kit solves that problem, letting you keep factory-style backup visuals with a replacement camera. It plugs right into your truck's original camera harness. There's no splicing, no extra adapters, and your view stays on the factory screen just like before. And the camera can be mounted flush on the back of your truck after you drill a hole for it.
This camera gives you a wide-angle view, so you catch bikes, trailers, or anything else sneaking up behind your bumper. You can tilt the camera to find the perfect angle for your setup. Even in low light, the camera gives you a detailed picture, so you're not squinting at the shadows. And with optional parking lines right on your factory display, lining up in tight spots or backing up to a trailer is much easier.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Brandmotion Factory Tailgate Harness with Bullet Camera. Now this harness has been designed to fit your 2017 to 2021 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duties and on custom fit parts such as this harness and camera, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our Fit Guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now this harness is designed to provide a factory style connection allowing for a clean and integrated camera setup.
This is gonna be ideal for you if you've like removed your factory tailgate, maybe for like a fifth wheel trailer or utility use, but you still wanna retain a backup camera view since that backup camera is gonna be in that tailgate. So this included bullet style backup camera can be mounted discreetly on like your bumper or anywhere where you're gonna have a good view. And that's gonna ensure an optimal camera positioning for safety and for visibility. So wherever you think you're gonna get the best view without your tailgate, and this will integrate into your existing display. The OEM fit connector is gonna fit perfectly into that factory connector.
The parking grid lines will be available. And of course this is gonna give you color images with automatic white balance and the camera does feature a waterproof case and an anti-fog lens. And the harness length is about 20-feet long. So I think you're gonna have plenty of length here. So it should be a pretty simple install.
And if you're trying to retain or improve rear visibility on a truck that no longer has a tailgate camera anymore, this harness with camera is going to be a great way to get that rear view back. Now if you do pick this up, we'd love to hear back from you regarding your experience with installing it and using it so you can share your experience with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. And if you have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to give us a call. We'd love to help you out further. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
