There is another solution, but unfortunately there is not a manual to electric conversion kit for the HappiJac 4160. You would need to upgrade your jacks to the HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jack System # LC736514-ELKIT. The Manual-to-Electric Conversion Kit for HappiJac Truck Camper Jack Systems # LC733960-182524 is only available for the 4220 and 4820 jacks. There is a strong likelihood the jack would fail if used on a different jack/model.

The reason it will not work for your 4160 is that the 4160 is a 2 piece construction acme screw drive, and the roll pins that connect the acme screw to the upper assembly can shear with the clutchless motors..

Hello Scott, I am looking to purchase a 2019 truck camper and it has the manual 4160's on them now. I reached Happijac and explained I wanted to convert over to motorized and they said the I would need their kit #728520 for it to work on the 4160's. It must be clutchless. I see your reply to another customer and I did not know when that reply was provide and if your product has been upgraded to now work on the 4160's Manual-to-Electric Conversion Kit for HappiJac Truck Camper Jack Systems Part Number: LC733960-182524

@Eric Hello Eric, Congrats on the new camper! The # LC733960-182524 has not been upgraded to work with the 4160. I do appreciate the information that you received from HappiJack about their kit # 728520 working for the 4160's, I am going to reach out to them to get it added to our site. Is this your first slide in camper? Do you have your first trip planned with the new set-up?
