Question:

I am replacing all cargo door latches on my 2001 Newmar Dutch Star. I have studied what latches you have available and have narrowed my choices down to the following 3: Global 295-000015 Lippert LC317649 Bauer BA57FR My existing latches have the latch itself off-set to the left. I have some space available on my striker but may have to fabricate new ones if space proves inadequate. Does Etrailer have any strikeplate assembly which might work? I am going to order 13 latches and need to get them keyed alike. Can you do this and how do I show it on the order? My preferred latch at this time is the Global.

My recommendation is to go with the Global Link RV Baggage Door Slam Latch, # 295-000015.

This and the Bauer Products RV Baggage Door Slam Latch, # BA57FR each have a keyed alike option though the Lippert Standard Baggage Door Latch Kit, # LC317649 in your listed does not. To order keyed alike locks, select "Keyed Alike" from drop-down menu above and enter number of locks in Quantity box. All 13 latches will need to be ordered at the same time to provide this.

We have the Global Link Replacement Strike Plate for RV Entry Doors, # 295-000022 if needed.
