Does Roof Thickness Need to be 2-1/2 to 5 Inches Thick to Use Advent ACCAR135

Question:
I am looking at ACCAR135 as a direct replacement for a Carrier AirV Model 68RV14103A and have a couple of questions. The AC is for a Rockwood PopUp Camper. 1 I am going to assume that I can use the Carrier Internal existing plenum and air distribution box? 2 ACCAR135 comes with 4 long screws, using the existing plenum does the roof thickness still need to be 2.5inch to 5inch thick? I will assuming if direct replacement the hardware 4 screws are longer? My roof is like 1.25 - 1.50inch thick.

Yes, you can indeed use your existing plenum and air distribution box to replace your Carrier with the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 13,500 Btu - White # ACCAR135.
However, it still requires a 2-1/2" to 5" roof thickness, so you'd have to build out your roof (where your AC is) with some kind of supports to install the Advent # ACCAR135.
