What Advent Air Conditioning Set-up do I Need for My 2018 Heartland Terry Classic V21?

I am needing to replace my Rooftop AC with a new one. Will this unit work? I have a 2018 Heartland Terry Classic V21.

Hello Andrew,

I am really glad that you wrote in. With the new refrigerant going from the old R410a to the new R32, you will need a new set-up.

So instead of the # ADV86SR you were looking at, you will want the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 # ADV92SR for a wall thermostat set-up.

Of if you want the set-up with the controls right on the air distribution box, you will want the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 # ADV32SR.

What A/C unit are you replacing?

You suggested # ADV92SR, but what does “ Not backwards compatible with any AC systems from 2024 and earlier” mean?

@Andrew That is why I was saying you will need a whole new system. The systems before 2025 have the old R410a refrigerant, the new 2025's have the R32 refrigerant. You cannot mix the old R410a air distribution box to the new R32 Air Conditioner. By getting the # ADV92SR this will give you the new refrigerant set-up. This is everything that you need to switch your system.
