Question:

Does it have to mounted on perfectly flat roof? My roof has a small pitch, thanks

We've checked with Advent Air in the past and they have told us that a 15 degree slant is acceptable for mounting a roof top AC unit but if the slant is more than that you'd need to shim it to get it closer to level.

The Camco Universal Fit RV Roof Air Conditioner Gasket Kit # CAM25071 comes with a gasket for a standard 14" x 14" (or 14-1/4" x 141/4") opening as well as leveling pads that are 7/8" and 5/16" thick that you could use.

I replaced rubber roof and reinstalled Dometic AC unit. Now getting condensation drip inside on 8 deg sloped ceiling? Removed top and cleaned plastic drain pan and put some 3/4” wood under rear of unit and still leaks inside?

@DanS It still does sound like a problem with the drain line if it's a condensation leak. Does the line have to go up an incline in anyway before it can run out? That would cause it to maybe back up.
