Since your 2018 Chevy Silverado has the smallest engine of that model year, I recommend the Derale Dyno-Cool Tube-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit item # D12903. This is our largest transmission cooler for the 4.3L V6 engine with dimensions of 15-1/4" wide x 7-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep. This cooler will do a great job of keeping your transmission from getting hot when pulling a trailer with your Silverado or just daily driving. The Derale Cooler is made of lightweight aluminum. I have linked a picture of the Derale Cooler installed on a similar model full-size Chevy truck so you can see what the final product looks like.

You will also want the Derale Universal Bendable Metal Mount Kit item # D13002 to complete your installation. These bendable metal brackets will allow you to mount the cooler on the support brackets in front of your Silverado's radiator.

While we don't have a video of this cooler being installed on a Chevy Silverado we do have a video of a larger model being installed on a GMC van and I have linked it below. The installation process will be similar and the video will allow you to follow along.
