I’m looking for a replacement lock for a Keifer horse trailer W 4.7/8” H 4 3/8” Thick 1.5” Can u help me w this ?

I have a solution for you.

I recommend the Bauer Products Door Lock for Horse and Utility Trailers - Matte Black - Die Cast Zinc # BA93FR. It is very rigid and sturdy weighing in at 3 pounds.

If you want a lighter version go with the Bauer Products Door Lock for Horse and Utility Trailers - Matte Black - Glass Filled Nylon # BA63FR. This model is not as sturdy as the die cast zinc but it can still take a beating.

Both units have the same cut out specs and reqs.

3-11/16" wide x 4-1/2" tall.
Required cutout dimensions: 2-3/4" wide x 3-3/4" tall.
Fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick.

What you have appears to be the same size door latch as what the #PLR5115 fits. I'd recommend verifying that the cutout hole on your door is 4-5/8" long x 3-3/8" but this was designed to fit the standard door cutouts like yours appears…
