Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Flashing Between C and 0.0 and Not Applying Trailer Brakes

Question:
Hi, When I plug in my trailer, the controller quickly flashes back and forth between c and 0.0. If I apply the manual lever, theres no braking. It doesnt brake when the brake pedal is applied, either. Suggestions for troubleshooting?

Expert Reply:
The P2 brake controller # 90885 should read nc if no trailer is connected. It would flash 0.0 if the power output is set to zero. If you aren't getting any braking power it sounds like its' because your controller is turned all the way down. Try turning the knob up on top of the controller.
