Question:

DM9518112. Can i use this product as is with a Blue Ox Attain tow bar? it will attach to a steel Smittybilt bumper on a Jeep TJ. i have D-rings and am aware of the adapters but would rather not change them every time I change which car i am towing. Blue Ox does offer a base plate but it does not have a place to attach safety chains i am also looking got wiring kit to run from RV for light, brakes and signals on 2004 Jeep TJ with a 6 wire circular connector

So the Demco base plates are not able to use a Blue Ox Attain tow bar, nor work with the bumper on your 2004 Jeep TJ. I know you mentioned rather not using the adapters, but that really is the only way I know of to use your tow bar on your Jeep with your Smittybilt bumper. The right adapter will depend on the size of your D-ring pin hole:

- 7/8" Pin Hole: Blue Ox Aftermarket Bumper Adapter # BX88357

- 1" Pin Hole: Blue Ox Aftermarket Bumper Adapter # BX88358

Then for your tow bar wiring, what you need is the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267.
