How To Hook Up Redarc Liberty Trailer Brake Controller On a 2020 Subaru Outback with AEB

Question:

In the installation video on your site, the red wire from the main unit is tapped into the brake wiring near the brake pedal. In the instructions for the Redarc itself, it seems to give a different wiring diagram for vehicles with AEB, etc. It also cautions you about connecting to the brake pedal on vehicles with AEB. can you help me out here? This is on a Subaru 2020 Ouback

According to Redarc, when installing the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller part # RED24FR on a 2020 Subaru Outback with AEB you'll want to splice into the stop light circuit at the rear of the vehicle through the tail light harness. If you splice into the stoplight switch at the brake pedal you could run into issues with the AEB system.
