You won't need to do anything to protect your alternator when switching out your starting battery to lithium. The only scenario where you would need to possibly change out equipment would be if you changed the house batteries of your 2016 Forest River Georgetown Motorhome. In which case you would need to check the converter or power center to verify that it is compatible with lithium batteries.
For example, the Go Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger # 34266169 you were looking at isn't compatible with Lithium batteries but a converter like the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger # PD9160ALV is compatible.
Certain power centers also offer a lithium mode, like the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4560K18LS8, which has a lithium and a lead acid mode.
