Replacement Circuit Board For WFCO 8955

Question:

Old wfco 8955pec has 2 30 amp circuits for slider motors and the circuit board on the pd4655 says it will handle up to 20amp circuits, can I still use that new circuit board.Dont want to purchase the PD4655 if it wont handle it.

Hello Lou.

On the wfco 8955pec it is a 55 amp unit, its why it has the 55 at the end of the part number. The Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section for AC/DC Power Distribution Panel - 55 Amp # PD4655V, is also a 55 amp unit. Replacing the circuit board unit in your wfco 8955pec with the # PD4655V will cause zero issues in being able to handle the amperage of your slide out motors, or anything else that you currently have hooked up to the wfco 8955pec as this circuit board works as a direct replacement.

the circuit supplied with the pd4655 says right on it that it will only up to 20 amp circuits

@Louis I confirmed with the tech at Progressive Dynamics that the # PD4655V is the correct replacement for your wfco 8955pec. The 30 amp circuits will work great!
