I have a curt R20 and A20 with I believe universal rails. I need to instal it on my 2001 F350 7.3. I’m interested in your product # C16424. I noticed it fits newer Ford’s, but will it still custom fit to my 2001 F350 7.3?

To install your Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs item # C16541 in a 2001 Ford F-350 you will need the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for Ford F250 and F350 item # C16443. This is the correct bracket kit for your truck. If you need the rails and the custom brackets you will want the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ford F250 and F350 - Carbide Finish item # C16443-204.
I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long item # C56070 to your truck. This wiring harness adds a 7-way connector to the bed of your F-350 and allows you to keep the 7-way on your bumper.
