Today we're going to take a look at the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for the Ford F250 and F350 trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1999 to 2004 Ford F250 and F350 trucks, with either the six and three quarter foot bed, or the eight food bed. Now, on any custom fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, these are custom brackets, these will mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel base rails to connect to. The base rails we do sell separately. These brackets do require the Curt base rails, we sell those in either the part number C16104, or C16204.
Now, these brackets will provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicles frame. This will help minimize the amount of drilling that is required, and it cuts the installation time in half, when compared with universal bracket kits. It does include everything shown here on the table; it includes the two mounting brackets, all the mounting hardware you need to install it, and a nice set of detailed instructions. Now, when these brackets are used with the Curt base rails, this part is compatible with BMW, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley fifth wheel hitches. This install kit is one of the easiest that I gave found. It's very easy to install with easy and understandable direction.
Quick shipper, direct fit, easy to inst all.
The product was well worth the money. With a good design and all of the mounting hardware included you cannot go wrong. Also the sales lady was very helpful. She knew which item I needed and was very pleasant to talk to. I will be dealing with E-Trailer again. Thanks again
Perfect fit in my 99 F350. Easy installation took about hr and a half that’s with removing old 5th wheel brackets. My 16k Reese hitch fits perfectly.
The fifth wheel mounting brackets were delivered as promised.The instructions were concise and easy to understand.We were able to complete installation in about an hour and a half.Made the whole install go much easier.

Item and instructions were spot on! Installed by myself in a couple of hours. I had universal brackets that had to be removed first, that's why it took longer. Would i buy this product from etrailer again? [HECK] YES! MY only regret was not buying this product from them to begin with. They've gained a new loyal customer ..... Me! Good Product. Bought for my 1999 Ford F250 Superduty. Installed by myself in as bout 2 hours.
The brackets fit perfectly on my trucks frame and made installation of my rails go as smooth as butter!
They don’t properly package what you order and
it arrives scraped up and sticking halfway out of
the box. No email response and you only get a
voicemail when trying to reach salesman/woman.
Yet you receive automatic email prompts to rate
the service. How backwards is that?!
These were supposed to be no drilling. I had to drill the holes in my frame. No easy task. So the one hour install is a farce. Would have been okay if you told me that, but you did not. So it was another 45.00 in bits to get the holes drilled.
