Question:

I have a grey water tank outlet diameter 1 3/4 inch with a 2” cap covering the outlet. Can I use the valtera eccentric tank reducer in reverse to expand my outlet to 3” . Fuse the 1 1/2 inside the put let? If this is possible is there a cap that I can then put on the 3 inch outlet while traveling. Ideally I am looking for a gray water tank adapter that I can screw onto my current outlet and have it expand it to a 3 inch outlet so that I can attach a standard sewer pipe. Any suggestions or advise

To widen your 1-1/2" pipe to 3" using the Valterra Eccentric Tank Reducer - RV Gray Water - 3" Spigot to 1-1/2" Hub # T1041-1 you would first need the Valterra DWV Adapter for RV Sewer System - ABS Plastic - 1-1/2" Hub to FPT # D50-2922 to screw onto your current fitting. The # T1041-1 would then slide over the 1-1/2" hub fitting of the # D50-2922 allowing you to connect a 3" pipe to your sewer system.

Between these two fittings you'll want to use some ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303 to secure the connection.
