Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra DWV Female Adapter. This fitting is made from a durable AVS plastic construction. It's going to connect two pipes together in your RV's drain system. DWV stands for drain waster and ventilation. That's the type of fitting that this is. It's going to feature an inch and a half hub on this end, and then it's going to have the female pipe thread on this end. The inner diameter on this side, that's going to give us a measurement of right around 1 7/8 to 1 15/16 seven inch, right in that area.
Inner diameter on the threaded end, that's going to measure about 1 3/4 of an inch. Overall length of the unit, it's going to measure about 1 5/8 of an inch long. This is IAPMO listed. That stands for International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. It's got the nice little finger grips right there, so when it comes to threading this on, making the connection, that's very easy and quick to do so.
