The mounting holes on the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM14793-81 are all going to be 1/2", so you will want to use grade 5 or higher 1/2" bolts. The length will depend on the thickness of the frame you are attaching this to and the torque spec will depend on the bolt you end up going with. I know this is a fairly vague answer, but there can be a lot of variables with torque specs depending on the bolt. These rating should be listed on the bolts you end up going with though.

The Grade 8 mounting bolts that come with the Trailer Coupler #CTA-280 have a 5/8" diameter and an overall length of 5-1/8" including the head. Without the head of the bolts they measured 4-13/16".
