Can you please tell me the difference between DM37Zr and DM14793-81

The only differences between the Demco eZ-Latch Couplers # DM37ZR and # DM14793-81 is that the former has integrated loop holes for installing safety chains and a about a 2" drop while the latter doesn't come with provisions for attaching the safety chains and has the coupler in-line with the trailer frame.

Aside from that everything else is the same.

Only solution will be to extend out the frame rails of your trailer so that you can install a standard coupler on to them. None of the options out there are going to be large enough to fit your frame channels that basically start too far apart. What…

A standard 50 degree coupler like #DM14793-81 will work on your custom 45 degree frame with a little modification. Without welding shims the coupler will not have the strength, so you will need to make some adjustments to your current tongue design.…
