1. Can I use the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger - Dual Input - DC to DC - 12V/24V - 40 Amp to charge just ONE 100 ah lithium? Planning on upgrading to 200 ah at a later point. 2. Per instructions, what is the unit needed, when using a lithium battery, after the battery to run the low voltage system?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D can be used to charge one 100AH lithium battery. Once the charger charges the battery it will go into a float mode to maintain the battery charge so that the battery is not damaged from overcharging.
Since you are using with a lithium battery a Redarc Smart Start Load Disconnect # 331-SBI12-LLD is used to prevent the lithium battery from excessive discharge.
