Is There a Leg Repair Kit Available for a LC241845 Leg

Question:

The front landing leg is a LCI241845. Understand there is not a gear repair kit for this leg, so the leg must be replaced. My question is there a replacement/substitute leg for the LCI241845 that does have a gear repair kit? If so, the leg could be repaired instead of replaced for future gear problems

The 241845 actually comes back to the Replacement Heavy-Duty Landing Gear Jack Leg # LC241845 which is the replacement leg for the Ground Control 2.0 which does not have a gear repair kit available so you would need to replace the leg with a new # LC241845.

If this by chance is not the leg you think you have and can find a different number I would be happy to help further. But, as far as the 241845 is concerned this is the option.

The # LC241845 is for the Ground Control 2.0 system. According to the manufacturer the 2.0 systems do not have legs available that will have a repair kit available for them. Unfortunately, as long as you have the 2.0 system your option is to replace the whole leg.
