Question:

I need to order everything to tow my new Jeep that will arrive soon so they say. I really like the factory front bumper and dont want to do anything that will require modifying or replacing it. Ive read that there is an OEM controller for connecting the RV to the Jeep that is supposedly better than after market ones and requires no splicing of any existing wiring. What are your recommendations for the whole shooting match, including the braking system? Im towing with a 2017 Winnebago Vista if that makes any difference. Also, the Jeep itself will be equipped with its own towing package, which includes several auxiliary switches. Thanks!

Currently, no manufacturers have made a complete flat towing setup custom engineered for a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. However, I'll still tell you what you are going to need.

First, you're going to need a base plate like # e98948. A base plate is used to allow your RV to connect to the toad vehicle.

Next, you'll need a set of tow bars. I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bars # BX7380. These tow bars are rating for a maximum weight capacity of 6,500lbs and directly connect the base plate # e98948.

Finally, you're also going to need a braking system like # RM-9400, wiring like # RM-154, and a high low adapter like # RM-048-4.

Like I mentioned earlier, there isn't a complete flat towing kit for your 2022 Jeep Wrangler, I'm sure as the year flows on the major companies will push out products that will allow you to flat tow your Wrangler.
