Question:
Hello, I have a 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser with the factory tow package 7 way connector at the hitch. Can you help me determine the correct brake controllers for my vehicle? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3040-P that you referenced would be the correct harness to use so that you can install a Tekonsha brake controller.
For a brake controller we recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 the most because of how well it works and how easy it is to install and use. I attached an install video for this product for you to check out.
You will simply plug the # 3040-P under your dash and the other end into the back of the # 90885 and you would be ready to use the brake controller.
