How do I get the old grey sealant off the aluminum top? And what power jack is your best for an 2019 27 ft airstream. I have a excella? 4000 series I need to replace I ran into it and broke the shell

The Lippert Smart Jack Electric Trailer Jack # LC643589 is my go to jack for travel trailers like your 2019 Airstream. This jack has a memory feature that allows you to program in the hitch height of your truck making connecting and disconnecting much easier. All you will have to do is set the jack to return to hitch height when you are ready to connect to the trailer or are raising it off your truck. No more standing around holding a switch until it reaches the right height. It also has an auto retract so you can ensure that the jack runs all the way up. The simple 1 wire connection is fuse protected and a manual crank handle is included with the jack.
For cleaning the sealant of the aluminum top on your Airstream I recommend using a plastic scraper or putty knife so that you will not risk damage to the aluminum. You only need to get the majority of the sealant off as you will be able to cover the small bits of old sealant with the new Self-Leveling Sealant # AL68KV.
