Question:

We have a 40 Cedar Creek CKTS fifth wheel and required a replacement water filter KW1 but I am unable to find it in your parts listing. Please clarify the code number, brand, etc. that would help me locate one. Thanks

We do not have a KW1-style replacement water filter, but I may have a better solution for you. The KW1 Style filter is unique to some Forest River RV's like your 2014 Cedar Creek and as such may not be as easy to find as more common styles.

If it were me, I would replace the filter houseing with a Camco # CAM40631 Premium Water Filter System that filters out contaminates above 5 microns in size - same as KW1 spec. Works in any orientation including laying on the ground. (Remember when you have to fill your holding tank at a state park to run it through the filter also). I went ahead and linked a review video that walks you through the components.

The Camco # CAM40621 Replacement cartridge fits this system. I would keep an extra on hand.
