Since your 2022 GMC 2500 HD Sierra Denali with OEM prep package has a 6-3/4' bed you will want to using a sliding fifth wheel hitch to provide more turning clearance and prevent the nose of your fifth wheel trailer from coming into contact with the cab of your truck. For the best I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 18,000lbs # DM8550034 with the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 21K # DM6333. The rail adapter will allow you to easily install/remove the hitch from the bed of your truck for full bed access.

This hitch automatically slides as you turn giving you up to 14" of additional turning clearance to execute tight turns. Other sliding hitches will require you to exit the cab and switch it into the maneuvering position for the turn and then get back out again to lock it back into the towing position once you complete the turn. This hitch has a wraparound, single-piece jaw provides a secure connection for 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact for less rattle and more security than slide-bar jaws. The 3/4" thick, solid steel locking bar reinforces the connection of your coupled trailer and automatically locks into place when the jaw closes. The double-pivot hitch head pivots front to back and side to side to ease hookup and help to limit chucking for a comfortable ride.
