Question:
I need to install a 7 connector on my 2022 Transit T250. I don't have any trailer wiring yet but I need to make sure that I can add a brake controller for towing my trailer. Also, I may have a need for a 4 connector as well. Do I need an adapter for this too? TIA

Thank you for all of the information! The wiring that I recommend to install on your 2022 Ford Transit T250 is the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter # 22114. This is a custom fit wiring kit that plugs into the tail lights on your vehicle and then provides the rest of the wiring you need for a fully-functional 7-Way and brake controller harness. Since you may need to a 4-Way down the road I recommend swapping out the 7-Way connector with the Hopkins 7-Way/4-Way # HM40975 and securing it to your trailer hitch crossmember with the No-Drill Bracket # C57202.
If you don't already have a brake controller then I highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This will plug right into the harness I mentioned above and then secures under your dashboard with the included mounting brackets. I really like the P3 because it's easy to use, read, and has the ability to save different trailer settings so you don't have to remember what settings you were using for various trailers.
Attached is an installation video of both the wiring kit and brake controller on a 2020 T250 for you to check out.
