Recommended Timbren System For My 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4wd Towing A 3,500 Lb 22 Travel Trailer

Question:
Aloha - I am a newbie with a 2008 Tacoma 4wd, double cab, 6 cyl, tow package and we tow a 22 foot travel trailer 3500 lb. I am interested in getting Timbrim active bump stops - to help smooth out the ride. I have no idea which product to get - can you steer me to the correct one?

Yes, I can definitely steer you in the right direction. If you do not plan on hauling/towing anything heavier than your travel trailer, I recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part # TTORTUN4L. The Timbren system will help reduce body roll in your tow vehicle. Since each rubber spring works independently, you will have better control of your vehicle if you have to swerve or make sharp turns. The progressive spring will stiffen as it is compressed, stiffening the suspension and keeping the vehicle level. The major difference between the standard duty and the extra heavy duty Timbren as it relates to your use, will be when you are not towing your travel trailer. The extra heavy duty spring will provide you with a much stiffer ride when you are not towing your trailer. The Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops are really just for that, off road.
