MaxxAir Vent Cover for Fan with 4 Mounting Tabs

Question:

I have just installed a Maxxair 4000K fan that has the easy mount tabs on it for securing a Maxxair vent cover. It requires 4 of the easy clips to mount the vent cover to the fan but it appears the Maxxair II cover only has two of these clips for one side and some sort of hinge pins for the opposite side - is that correct? I need a cover with four 4 of the easy clips to install it on my 4000K fan. Can I still use the Maxxair II cover for my 4000K fan? see attached pic with hinge pins circled Thanks,

We actually have a few different version of the white rain covers from MaxxAir. The MaxxAir II # MA76JR that you referenced comes with the pins. This is for applications where the roof vent has the mounting tabs on one side.

Since you have the 4 mounting tabs on your MaxxAir 4000K you want the MaxxAir FanMate # MA00-955001 which comes with the 4 clips and the 4 brackets.
