2021 Jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon can you use this kit HM39VRinstead of RM47ZR and get the same results, one you have to splice the diodes in the other plug into existing harness. Also do you need the RM8800 brake kit diode to make all of this work regardless of which kit you buy?

For your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, you can use either the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM39VR you mentioned, rather than the Roadmaster Wiring Kit with Smart Diodes # RM47ZR. If you choose not to use # RM47ZR and you use # BLU79FR you will not need any additional wiring as this is a plugs into your vehicle's harness.
If you choose to use # RM47ZR, then you may need the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400 if you use this kit with a supplemental braking system.
If your vehicle has incandescent lights then you will need the Roadmaster Universal Wiring Kit # RO94FR as the kit # RM47ZR is designed to be used with LED lights only.
