Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this REDARC plug-and-play wiring harness. This is going to make it very easy for you to get your REDARC Tow-Pro Elite or Liberty electric brake controller installed on your 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator or your 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler with the factory tow package. So this is a very, very simple installation. This end is going to plug right into your Tow-Pro electric brake controller, and then this other end is going to plug into the towing package electric trailer brake controller connector port, which is located beneath your vehicle's dash, left of your steering wheel and near your e-brake.
So once you get both ends plugged in, you'll be ready to go, start using your REDARC brake controller. This is made here in the USA, so you can trust it is gonna be a good quality. You're not gonna have any issues with it. So if you are looking to install either the Elite or Liberty electric brake controller on your Jeep, now this is gonna be, make it much, much easier for you to get everything installed. Just plug and play, not having to worry about cutting wires and that sort of thing.

My Redarc break controller works great and it is easy to install and setup. The best part for me is I just have one small button on my dashboard for adjusting my brakes.
Worked perfectly
First off, let me tell you the “bad” and then I will tell you the “good”. For you Clint Eastwood fans, there’s no “ugly”.
I actually bought a Redarc Pro Elite brake controller and, during the purchase, I was told by the etrailer rep I was speaking to, that Redarc didn’t make a plug and play harness for a Jeep Gladiator. He told me I needed to buy a different brand AND CUT OFF the plug that DID fit and splice it onto the Redarc universal harness. I was not happy with that solution but I figured since the truck is only 3 years into production, maybe they hadn’t made one yet. I bought what he told me to and when it arrived I started watching YouTube videos on the install. I still didn’t want to splice wires because of the inherent risk involved with poor connections, so I started searching on the internet for a better solution. I was stunned to find out after less than five minutes of searching, that the exact harness I needed for the Gladiator was made by, you guessed it, Redarc. I got on the phone with e-Trailer again and initially spoke to someone who told me I had to pay to ship back the incorrect part I was told to buy, AND they wouldn’t expedite the correct part unles I paid for the added shipping costs, despite the fact that I had a trip planned and I needed the brake controller functioning before I left. I HAD planned ahead enough, had I gotten the correct part in the first place and I felt they should make things right. I hung up an thought I would hunt for the part elsewhere but decided to call back and plead my case once again. THIS IS WHEN THE GOOD HAPPENS!

Super easy install so far I have no com plaints
We have a Jeep Gladiator and we are pulling a 20' travel trailer with it. The brake controller was easy to install, it works great and you can adjust it on the fly if needed. Great product and gives you assurance that it will stop when you need it to with no hesitation or hard braking. I recommend this product to the novice just starting out like we were - gives you a real peace of mind!
