Question:
I have a 2012 Toyota RAV4 I will be towing on dolly behind motorhome. Would like to use exiting rear lighting on RAV4 for added visibility. What will I need to connect RAV4 running, brake, and turn signals to motorhome for simultaneous operation with motorhome lights? Motorhome and RAV4 have separate brake and turn indicators.

Yes, you can use the Curt Universal Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # C63CR to sync your motorhome lights to your 2012 Toyota RAV4. This part will make the RAV4's lights work as a combined system while it is being towed. It is legal for the RAV4 to be combined while being towed, even if it isn't when driving.
This kit will only work if your motorhome already has a 7 way and 4 way flat since the dolly will take up the 7 way connector on the motorhome. If you only have a 7 way the you can install a Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 7-, 5- and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM48470 which turns a 7 way into a 7 way with 4 flat.
