Question:
I tried to get off cheap and it bit me in the ass! I re-wired my 28’ gooseneck with 7 way harness, junction box and all the wire required for lights. It’s been less than a year and my wires will actually crumble in my hand! The junction box if completely rusted on the inside and all of my marker lights are full of water when they were supposed to be water proof. Anyway, I’ve bought several items from you all in the past and they’ve held up so I’m trying to see if there is a waterproof/weatherproof wire I could use. Also and junction box with 7 way that won’t rust as well as marker lights that are waterproof? I’d like to use same size marker lights so I don’t have to drill new holes. I’m currently using 4” lights that are 1” thick and the screw holes are 3” apart. Thanks for any help you can give.

For the 7-way pigtail/junction box, I'd recommend the # 277-000141 junction box/pigtail which will do a good job of keeping the water out unless it's submerged. Adding a bead of silicone caulk around the seams where the lid meets the box and where the wires pass through would be a good idea as well.
For a marker light that's 4 inches in length, 2 inches tall and 1-1/8 inch thick with mounting holes 3 inches on center, I'd recommend the # 47-59-002 LED Clearance/Marker light from Bargman. This LED clearance lamp draws a fraction of the power that an incandescent lamp does, it will last up to 50 times longer and provides more light output.
