Question:
I installed the Patriot 3 in my 2021 Jeep gladiator and the trial run went fine but when I went to install it for a trip when I powered it up and hit the on switch it immediately started pulsating none stop and I hadnt hit the setup button yet. I tried hitting the setup button hoping it would stop and setup but it just keeps pulsating, I tried adjusting it to make sure there wasnt to much pressure on the brake pedal but it still does the same, so Im not sure if I need to go back to the manufacturer or if you might have some suggestions? Please Advise.

I would first remove the power to your Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR for a few minutes to let it reset. Check the 12v outlet using a tester like # PTW2992 to ensure the unit is actually receiving 12v power as insufficient power could also be causing issues.
Next check to see if there is a short in the wire for your breakaway switch. You could have a small cut, bend, or loose connection causing the sporadic pulsating. Once you know the outlet is properly powering the unit and you have no issues with the breakaway switch you can go ahead and stick the unit back in place and plug it in following the installation/setup steps listed in the attached manual.
If you are still experiencing these issues then I recommend reaching out to Blue Ox directly as there may be some internal defect.
