With the MCD spring repair how many turns of the spring do I make when installing?

Hi Dennis; MCD doesn't have a set number of turns to install the MCD Innovations RV Shade Repair Kit # MC74SR. What you want to do is add some tension, test it, then adjust accordingly until you have it set the way you want it.

After I installed the new parts, I hung shad up in my shop,I would turn the spring tensions a little and see how shade works, keep adjusting tensions and trying shale until it rolls up nicely.

The pieces do not fit correctly to older blinds (2008 era). The tube ends that insert inside the blind’s tube are smaller diameter and the notch is smaller in thickness requiring cutting to fit correctly on the tubes indent. Have not solved the smaller diameter tube ends issue yet (likely have to try wrapping tape).
