The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates are great because they have removable tabs which means your F-150 is going to keep its clean look when you aren't flat towing. The Nighthawk tow bar is simply the best tow bar available with long arms for easy maneuvering, non-binding latches that make it easy to disconnect, LED lights so you can see even after dark, and it even comes with both safety cables and an electrical cord plug so you don't have to purchase those things separately.

The wiring kits are smart diode kits, which work to ensure your tail lights always get the proper 12 volts, and are required for use with your truck. The InvisiBrake allows you to set the braking power you desire, and you only have to set it up once for convenience. As for the Brake-Lite Relay, that is needed to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.
