Question:

1 have one road master even brake and could not use it anymore because my new toad have active braking f150 2021 and even brake lock my four wheel… did you know if this patriot is compatible with active braking thanks

I spoke to my contact at Blue Ox and they confirmed the Patriot will fit your 2021 Ford F-150 with Active Brakes.

I recommend The Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR. The Patriot continually checks the brake pressure on the vehicle being towed, making you aware if the pressure gets too high or low.

You will also need the following:

Base Plate kit: depending on your tow bar, I have attached a link to the base plate kits that will fir your F-150.

You will also need a tow bar wiring kit, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. I recommend this wiring kit because it let's you wire your toad to accept your RV's tail, brake and turn signal lights.

You will need safety cables, I recommend the Blue Ox 7' Safety Cables - 10,000 lbs - Qty 2 # BX88197. I recommend these safety cables because being coiled they don't drag one the ground, allowing them to potentially last longer.
