Will Yakima OverHaul HD Ladder Rack Fit OEM Embark LS Cover on 2021 Ford F-150

Question:

Hi, just wanted to confirm whether this rack system # Y01151-5855 will work with our 2021 Ford F-150 Lariat 145” wheelbase and the factory-installed retractable tonneau cover. The paperwork that came with the truck included installation instructions for a Retrax tonneau cover, but I see on the Ford accessories site that a retractable tonneau cover that looks just like ours is referred to as an Embark LS retractable cover. So I am confused about what tonneau cover we have if that matters. I will try to attach a couple pictures showing the track system for the cover on our truck. If this part # Y01151-5855 will work on our truck, can you confirm whether the 68” cross bars and the tonneau cover adapter pads are included with this part? Would I need to purchases any other parts to install the rack and cross bars using the tonneau cover tracks? I understand that there are other accessories, like side bars, but I am just asking about the basic set up with crossbars.. Any other issues using this rack on our truck? Yes, the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack for Tonneau Cover - 68" Crossbars # Y01151-5855 will fit with the tonneau cover on your 2021 Ford F-150 and comes with all of the basics like the 68" crossbars, uprights, and the adapter kit.

Retrax makes the OEM Ford tonneau cover just like how Reese makes the OEM puck system for the Ford pickup beds. When sold as an "OEM" part, a product is usually renamed just to make it feel more like it's directly from the vehicle manufacturer's factory. That's why you're seeing instructions for a Retrax cover but you're seeing that your cover is known as an Embark LS.

We have a few videos of this ladder rack and adapter kit being installed on a tonneau cover with a track system. Nothing yet on a Ford, but I'm attaching a link to one on a 2020 Ram 1500 that you can check out. The installation process will be the same.
