I was surprised at how simple and flimsy they look at first, but they've withstood the test of time on my adventures. Sliding the T-bolts can be a challenge sometimes, but that's nothing a plastic pry tool and mallet doesn't solve.
Well I finally got it after a long 7 month wait. I just installed everything and have to say it’s a lot sturdier than I thought it would be. I had a some concern about how solid it would be being that it only held down buy 2 bolts on each bracket attached to the tonneau side rail . I have the Yakama rack system. The rack system actually doesn’t move at all compared to before where there was a little bit of movement, still solid but slight movement. Because of the rack system I have, the base clamped and locked into the mounting system on the original set up. This is not the case with this kit. So because of that the inner section on the base is just exposed. I wish this kit would have somehow covered that section. It’s not a structure issue but more of a looks thing. Attach is picture showing this. But other than that at this point I can’t see anything that would change my mind about having this on my truck.
There is no guidance on how tight to tighten the bolts. I had to have a new set of rails sent for my Tonneau cover. Putting a rooftop tent over your car, I would think you would want them tight.
Out of stock when I ordered but the wait wasn’t long. Very happy with the results. Now I can carry my kayaks and still lock my bed.

Works well with my Retrax bed cover on my 2014 Tacoma. Unfortunately on this system to adjust height, must adjust “width” on crossbar. Also, (this is a Yakima issue not etrailer), was missing one of two locking nuts to keep the mount secure. Emailed Yakima, and they sent the part right out, so that was good.

Still works after a year of use. That said, it would be good if there was a design changemod that allowed securing via cam-lock to enable quick removalreinstall. A longer bolt would be needed, but in essence, undo the can lock and slide the entire assembly off the back. Removalreinstall with nuts and relatively short bolts takes time and isn’t 1-person friendly. Cam-lock adjustment of height and width would also be helpful. Secure the cam locks with a captive safety screw through the handle.
This has been on and off my truck for over a year, helping haul kayaks, a canoe, awnings, and lumber. Slides perfectly onto the Retrax One railed tonneau, and is perfectly secure. From the local lumber yard, to hunting camp, to the remote camps on back trails, it has never let me down. Adirondack winters, and no real sign of wear and tear.

Aboslute necessity if you're mounting a Yakima OverHaul ladder rack on to a 2022 Tacoma TRD Sport, Double Cab, Short bed with a RetraxOne XR Tonneau cover with integrated T-slot rail.
Made for a perfect Yakima rack fit.
Overpriced for a piece of rubber and some hardware. The design could use some help as well. Specifically the void space between the track and the rack which can result in the t-bolt pulling through the track if over torqued.
Fantastic! With this adapter kit, I have the ability to adjust the rack supports to accommodate various loading requirements. The supports can be moved closer together to allow additional space in the rear fir taller items or fully extended to adapt to longer rack loads. They are great and worth the expense.
Works as advertised. Allowed me to fit my Yakima Overhaul rack to my Pace Edwards retractable tonneau cover easily and effectively.

Christian at eTrailer was very helpful in helping us order the correct tonneau cover adapter kit for our M416 trailer. It is perfect and was really easy to install.
Great product. I use it in the TEE slot of a Retrax bed cover so I can carry anything on the rack and still have the cover closed keeping things secure and dry.
This product allowed the Yakima rack to be mounted to the Retrax bed cover as seamless as possible. Seems to be performing well, happy with the entire set up.
They are solid with the yaks rak and 150 pounds of kayaks on top.
Been looking for this for over 2 years so I can install the Yakima HD rack on my F350. The package came quickly after I ordered it. Now to fully utilize the truck for hauling our toys!

This item was backordered from the Yakima. I was told it would ship late August, however it shipped late June, which luckily for me was in time for our camping trip. Product quality is as expected for Yakima. Thanks.
This adapter works well but I feel it is not of the quality of the ladder rack itself. I would have preferred a cleaner fit.
Product is exactly what it appears . Customer service was awesome and delivery was quick with etrailer !!
