Question:
I would like to install a trailer hitch and the correct wiring on my 2022 Honda Pilot. Going to use it for a bike rack right now but I may end up towing a small trailer later on down the road. Thank you!

I really like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98840 for your 2022 Honda Pilot because it has a hidden crosstube and a matte black finish which matches any black fascia on your Pilot better than a glossy finish would, plus it does a better job at hiding nicks and dings from road debris. Please note that this will just fine with an 18" or smaller spare tire, but if you have a larger spare then you will need to find a different place to store your tire. You will also need to visit a Honda dealer for a sensor relocation kit if you have the Hands-Free Liftgate feature.
Then for wiring I recommend the T-One # 118760 and bracket # 18144 for a 4-Way, or the T-One # 118286 with bracket # PK12711U for a 7-Way. You'll also need the No-Drill Bracket # 18136 to attach the connector and corresponding bracket to the hitch so that the wiring is easily accessible right next to your hitch receiver.
To round out a towing kit you'll also need a ball mount setup like what you find with part # C45534. If you don't already have a bike rack then I recommend checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 Base # BA22B which is arguably my favorite bike rack that we have to offer due to the sleek matte black look and the ease of use that this rack offers.
I have attached a few videos for the installation of the hitch and wiring options, as well as the ball mount kit and bike rack that I mentioned above.
