I have a 2005 Ram 1500 Quad and I have the bars but no brackets. are the 23-299 brackets the correct brackets for my truck?

Mounting brackets are specific for trucks and the running boards, so you can't just match brackets to the truck or running boards individually. They would need to be matched to the truck and running boards both. That being said, I can tell you that the Replacement Mounting Brackets and Hardware for Westin 3" Round Nerf Bars # 23-299PK that you are asking about are not the brackets you need. Those particular replacement brackets work with nerf bars that do not fit your 2005 Ram 1500.

We have 2 different sets of Westin mounting brackets that fit your 2005 Ram 1500 w/ Quad cab. They are Replacement Installation Hardware Kit for Westin E-series Round Nerf Bars # 23-231PK that work with bars # 23-2310 and # 23-2315. We also have the Replacement Hardware for Westin Signature Series 3" Round Nerf Bars # 25-231PK that work with bars # 25-2310 and # 25-2315.

These will fit your truck but you will need to verify which bars you have to ensure that they will fit the bars correctly.
