Need Fixed Fifth Wheel Hitch That Fits Factory Pucks of Short Bed 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:

Can I use a fixed type fifth wheel hitch on my 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed that your fitguide shows for the long bed trucks? I don't need a slide type hitch since I have a rotating turret type pin box. But when I use the fit guide it wants to show me slider hitches and think it is because I identified that have a short bed truck. I'm looking at your B&W part number BWRVK3710.

Absolutely, a short bed 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the OEM puck system will accept the same hitch as the long bed truck models. I highly recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package, # BWRVK3710, that you reference. B&W manufacturers one the best available hitches currently on the market. If you use our Fit Guide this will show as being listed for an 8' bed however, if you are connecting to an RV equipped with a rotating turret then you need the fixed hitch that is listed for long bed, not your 6-3/4' bed. This is a rail-free design using the OEM puck system that allows full access to truck bed when hitch is removed.
