How Tall Above Truck Bed Does Curt Gooseneck Ball Kit part # C68ZV Sit

Question:

Hi, what is the height from the shoulder of the shaft which goes into the puck to the top of the ball? I saw on Curts site the total height 10.375, but not the shoulder to top-of-ball height. Thank you.

Hey Rick, so we had a customer send us a picture (see attached) where they took that measurement for us and basically from the top of the hitch ball down to the bottom of the shoulder is 7 inches. This is essentially another way of measuring how tall above the truck bed will the ball be.

Hey Rick, did that 7-inch measurement from the Curt gooseneck ball give you the clearance you needed above your truck bed? Knowing how it worked out could help others trying to gauge the same fit.
