Question:

My 2022 Chevy 2500 HD high country is finally coming in. I need a hitch for my cedar creek 345 ok.16000 lb loaded . Shoul I get a slider, could you please suggest what you think would work best. Thank You!

I looked up the nose of your Cedar Creek 345 and since it is tapered with an extended pin box plus your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500HD being on the longer side of the short bed size (6-3/4 foot when typically it's 6 foot) you wouldn't need a slider hitch. So what I would recommend is the B and W Companion hitch for GM rail kits # BWRVK3710 which is widely considered to be the nicest fifth wheel hitch out there due to how tight it holds the king pin of the trailer, how well made it is, and because it can break down into smaller sections to make install and removal easier.
